She has a brother named Kevin, a sister named Susan and a deceased brother named Roger.
Wendy passed away very suddenly in front of her close family members.
My mum was an amazing woman, she touched everyone she met. She was kind, caring and would do
anything for anyone. My mum's life was turned upside down in 1971 when her brother Roger was killed
in a motorcycle accident on the way home from the navy at the age of 17. Then on 25th December 1972
her mother passed away, when my mum was just 19 years of age, her mother was 41. My mum was devasted
when this happened as her mum was her best friend. My mum Wendy Baker was a real character, she was
funny and quite lively. She was always running around after my dad, my brother and myself. I feel
very guilty about that as i believe i could have helped her more. She was so hard working and at
times she had 2 or 3 jobs at once just to earn extra money for her family. She was a fantastic cook
and home maker. She always had time to listen to anyone who needed advice. My mum meant the world
to me, she always had time for me and wanted us to spend more time together, i would give everything
i own just to have her back in our lives. I wish i had had more time with my mum and made time for
her. I was devasted when she passed away and so was all her family and friends. When my mum passed
away i was only 27 years and my brother was 22 years, i know there are people out there who are
younger than us and have lost their mothers i just wish i got to tell her that i loved her and would
of liked to have said goodbye. To this day and always i will love my mum, my rock and my best friend

Mum i just want to thank you for telling me to come back to Dad and Mark when i was so very poorly. I was and still am so very scared, but i heard your voice and you told me that i was strong and that my life was going to get better. I have a new boyfriend and i believe he is the one, you would like him. He treats me so well mum, like the way you treated Dad. I think about you every day and it hurts my heart that you are not here, you are an amazing mum and you always will be. Hope your looking after lil Alan Brian and lil Heather too as they need you now. Plz talk to me again so i can hear your voice once more. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MUM xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wendy its christmas time, and it at times like this that special people like your self come in to my thoughts,you help us all to remeber what life is about and how it should be lived, I sit and think of all the good times both our families have shared over the years and at the bond that made us all more than friends, and as I once heard in a film what you do in this life should echo through eternity well I must admit you made a really great apple pie somthing that all who tasted will cherish.
Well wendy I know you are looking down on Mark and Joanne and I know you would be proud of them both.

How could i ever forget you my dear freind,you were a devoted wife and mother.you gave your all to your family and more.you always spoke high'ly of your family,we were always their for each other sharing stories about our childhood and our own families,about all the good times and the bad.I will never forget you Wendy when you heard I lost my two wee grandchildren and also a grandnephew you were so cocerned it upset you, you were like part of my family and i yours.I was at work when i heard the sad news about your passing i was aloud time off to come and be with your husband Jonh and your children Joane and Mark,they were all devistated,I was very worried more so about mark as he was your youngest and wasent copeing very well at the loss of you his darling mum,what i will never forget is when i went to see you at the parlor.I was talking away to you and when i had looked back at you and you had a smile on your face i knew you were alright no more sorrow and no more pain you did not want too go but it was your time.now in heaven with your best freind your mum and your brother.God Bless you my darling derest freind Wendy RIP.
